They had satanic rituals?

yeah, there used to be this special assistant to the superintendent there. he's the one who used to lead the satanic rituals.

yo i think we should all get together and protest on opening day. like say we all had a family member in there that died in there or do something to discourage this bullshit. it's just wrong and disrepectful to those who had to be there and to the ones who didn't make it out alive.

After looking at the photo shoot a bit more, it looks like whoever did it spent a bit too much time looking at their old Ozzy albums:

that is funny superblue - and nice detective work with the WhoIs search. that, pretty much more than anything, confirmed for me this sick joke is actually real.

if it wasn't so sad, this whole thing would be hysterical.

In Proverbs 22:28 we are told “Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.”

This is a disgrace and an insult to the memory of that place. Anyone that says they care about the place OWE it to Pennhurst to get this stopped.

I think that my real picture is a lot scarier than the phony one you guys came up with.

i would love to round up the troops for this one. it's an absolute disgrace... a mockery, if you will. i wouldn't really say "let's protest" an event such as this... but do something along the lines of the following: let's get some nice shirts made up "Pennhurst Preservation Alliance" (..or something along those lines). find out where they have their entrance/walkway for patrons and pass out informational booklets (a shortened version) regarding the history of Pennhurst and it's significance to mental health care. Our underlining purpose would be to try to make people aware of the disrespectful act they are engaging in by contributing money to people who obviously have absolutely no interest in doing anything substantial or educational with this precious property.

all of this would be conducted in a professional manner, for we would be upholding the good name of the preservation efforts.

and i know this might be a long shot, but who knows. at least we can say we tried to educate the general public, especially those who are not on this site or any sister sites for that matter; those individuals who are completely unaware of the preservation efforts and how much it means to some. who knows... it might just make a difference.

at this point, we have nothing to lose.

For those of you who are residents of Philadelphia and are interested in using public access television, PhillyCAM allows you to air various types of programs on Comcast Cable channels 66/966 or Verizon FIOS channels 29/30.

If you do not have your own video editing program or a video camera, you can apply for an annual membership of 25 dollars a year that allows you access to resources such as cameras, editing equipment and usage of the studio to produce your media.

So, think about the type of people who watch public access television in our community and how many curious viewers you can influence by airing one of your videos or documentaries.

For more information, visit: http://phillycam.org/ or join the facebook group for updates http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=138704033484.

I agree with the last few posts, BUT what would Peecho & the PMPA, suggest. We don't wanna look like a bunch of looney tunes 'preaching' to people. Also, IF this works & anyone would like shirts or hoodies made, I get great deals from the place that does my company shirts. They charge $5.00 for shirts up to xxl and $15.00 for hoodies up to xxl, both have a small logo on upper left chest and full logo on back, both are 2 colors. Both are very comfy (or else I wouldn't buy them). Let me know your thoughts! In the meantime, I will grab some pics of mine & post them.

:Edit:
If you didn't get a chance to see the pictures when they were posted here, send me a PM & I'll send em' to you. Really wasn't thinkin, there is a reason I took them down for now.

I knew the shot on the main page looked familiar. Does anyone talk to Motts? He may be interested to know that this photo is being used.
